My castle

There was a time when I decided to buy a castle, albeit an old one and a bit on the rickety side. This is it! "Chateau Fleckenstein" (I think this is roughly how they call it.)

I still have issues when driving on my own, which is why I mostly hitch a ride with someone.
By seeing this sppeding ticket snapshot, I guess you can imagine that the police will be a wee bit suprised on seeing me drive, like this. Getting the steering wheel to turn like I want it to and seeing the road ahead all at once, is not easy for me to get done without some genious  adaption techniques.

My French police photo to prove it:

Look, there it is!

Dosen´t it look grand!

Below you can see me at the very bottom, where I start my climb up.

Fewwwee, feels more like mountaineering, than anything else. I should build an elevator to get up.

Oh, look, there is the elevator!

They put it behind the castle wall, so that no one unallowed can use it from the outside. Oh well, security dose have it´s price in sweat, when it comes to this type of real estate property.

This house needs a map for sure, maybe something just a bit smaller would have been more suitable?

Ahh, the top floor room, I wonder when that will be finished? I can´t tell if the building is still in progress or being refurbished. Oh, I forgot, it´s old, so it must be the refurbishing stuff.

One dose need a bite of something, after such a little hike & climb!
A "Flammkuchen" and a nip of wine is just the right thing to have.

I even passed by a patisserie later, to check for something nice to go with the cafe au lait.
