I went Paragliding ...

I went Paragliding all on my own, when i got back from the trip,

cause I didn't get a chance when I went along. It was real flying that the others did, well, they got a first time lesson and got to practice flying most of the time.

par·a·glid·ing

A sport in which a wide canopy resembling a parachute is attached to a person's body by a harness in order to allow them to glide through the air after jumping from or being lifted to a height.

they call it "Torte"

It was such a nice day and I decided to drive to the countryside in Bavary, out of the hot and stuffy Munich city to eat some gloriously tasty cake.

Oh boy, decisions, decisions.
I´ll just eat both!

If you ever pass by: Café Winklstüberl, Leitzachtalstraße, Fischbachau, Germany
Nuff´ "Torte" for all.

A summer road trip

I decided to go on a road trip to bella Itala, by convertible obviousy, cause I definitely have to work on my tan.

In my very italian style hotel room in Firenze.

And this hotel had an old voice "telefone" for the elevator, but they don't have a lift boy anymore.

And this old stone bathtub in the entrance hall of the hotel.

Wow, what a carriage, seen in Pisa. Looks like the carriage from Cinderella.

Sundays are not very busy in all Italian towns, as I found out and you can see above.

And grand clocks they have, though they are quite old but pretty.

Oh, and ice cream of course! I had to have more than my size. Well, I had some help with eatin' it.

This is a view in Florence towards the Ponte Vecchio bridge, very colorfull from the outside and all golden on it, due to the gold shops which are passed on from generation to generation.

Now this is a festive lunch in Tuscany, in the Chianti region in the town of Greve.

Sitting down to take a break in Sant Gimigiano. San Gimignano is a small walled medieval hill town in the province of Siena, Tuscany, north-central Italy. Known as the Town of Fine Towers, San Gimignano is famous for its medieval architecture, unique in the preservation of about a dozen of its tower houses, which, with its hilltop setting and encircling walls form "an unforgettable skyline".

I swear, it wasn't me!

Ahh, Italian sun and mediterranean sea.

My friend the busy bee bear, working in his market

Another very tasty dinner on our way back towards the alps.

Boy, I am soo tired, got to take a rest.

Nearly home, at lake Garda, which is the southern most lake "close" to Bavaria. ;-)

And here we go, nearlz home again, passing Tirol.

Meanwhile, my business colleague "Mr. Butlers" Bear was busy working on a racetrack somewhere, I can imagine how he passed the time, by seeing this picture.
